Taking Care of You
Medical Insurance
- SGI covers more than 90% of the medical benefit premium. We
offer a wide range of services including doctor visits,
preventative care, maternity care, mental health and substance
abuse services, hospitalization and prescription drug programs. Our
coverage plan also includes a discount program for alternative
therapies including acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic care
and registered dieticians.
- The vision care plan includes dollar allocation for annual
comprehensive vision examinations, lenses, frames and contact
lenses.
- SGI provides dental coverage at no cost to its employees or
associates.
- Our flexible spending plan allows you to lower taxable income
by setting aside money on a pre-tax basis to reimburse yourself for
eligible medical, dental and vision expenses.
Insurance
- SGI sponsors long- and short-term disability (LTD) benefit
plans.
- SGI pays for associate life insurance coverage.
- The Dependent Care FSA lets you lower taxable income by
reimbursing yourself for eligible day care expenses.
401(k) Savings Plan
The SGI 401(k) Savings Plan is a long-term savings plan
designed to provide financial security for associates in
retirement.
Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off (PTO) is an all purpose time-off policy for you to
use for vacation, illness or injury and personal business. It
combines traditional vacation, personal days and sick leave plans
into one flexible, paid time-off policy.
Community Service
The SGI volunteer program is designed to support your
participation in the community through volunteerism. The program
strives to support community service initiatives by bringing
employees together to effect positive change in the community.
